Salvadoran-American tenor Manfred Anaya is an emerging young artist based in the Cincinnati area, where he is currently completing his Artist Diploma at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. In the 2021-22 season, Manfred joined Des Moines Metro Opera, where he covered Tchaplitsky (The Queen of Spades), and he returned that winter for the company’s 50th anniversary performance of The Magic Flute, covering Tamino and First Armored Man. In 2022, he spent his first summer with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, singing Rose's Fiancé in Awakenings and covering in Harvey Milk. He debuts with Pacific Opera Project in 2023, singing Telamone in the US Premiere of Vivaldi's Ercole su'l Termodonte.
